Reach Out

And even when he reached the land God promised him,
he lived there by faith—for he was like a foreigner, living in tents.
And so did Isaac and Jacob, who inherited the same promise.

Abraham was confidently looking forward to a city
with eternal foundations, a city designed and built by God.
It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child,
though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God
would keep his promise.

Put aside your impatience and take time to sit with me.
Allow me to fill you with what you need. Allow me
to wash you and open your eyes to see what I see.

It’s time to stop looking back at once was, but see
now what I see within you. I have given you things
to be shared with others.

Reach out and release the flow I have set within you.

Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
