Your Calling

-

So then, have your minds ready for action.
Keep alert and set your hope completely
on the blessing which will be given you
when Jesus Christ is revealed.

Be obedient to God, and do not allow
your lives to be shaped by those desires
you had when you were still ignorant.

Instead, be holy in all that you do,
just as God who called you is holy.
The scripture says, “Be holy because I am holy.”

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.
