Allow me

Don’t waste this time to draw nearer to me.
Come and sit. Hush from your talking and thinking.
Clean yourself, soak in me. Allow me to bring the changes.

 Stop worrying about the “why’s”. 
I need you to be rested and nourished in me. 
Recognize my leading you into new ways. 

 Learn not react to what you see, but respond to my leading. 
Learn to quiet yourself. I am what you are looking for. 
I am what the world needs.
As evening came, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross 
to the other side of the lake. So they took Jesus in the boat 
and started out, leaving the crowds behind 
(although other boats followed). Mark 4:35-36 (NLT)

Do not be discouraged. I am with you. Yes, I am working within you, despite what you don’t see or sense. I am with you. Drink-in the water I offer. Apply the balm of my peace to your restlessness. My words bring encouragement. Let them soak into your life. My ways bring wholeness, for now and in the time yet to be revealed. I am active within your life. Rest in me and do not allow discouragement to affect you. My love for you is ever-growing. It reveals itself as you allow me to work. Replace what you don’t see with my assurance. My words will come to pass. They never fail. There is nothing I have shown you that I will not perform. Let the water of my living word refresh you.

Out of the Water
